The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of one button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.
This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think this is a nice statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you've got a lot of dirt.
For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away whenever it comes across one.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and also washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.
The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are useful, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's slightly more expensive than some homeowners require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it to its base station. The control panel includes the circular menu which allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
